Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving by scubadive67, on Flickr Happy Thanksgiving!!!  It’s time yet again to spend a day with the family, consume some good food, do some shopping, and remember those things for which we’re most thankful.  Thanksgiving is a predicatable schedule with my family. 

9:00 am - MACY’S PARADE?!?!?!!  ALL LIFE MUST CEASE FOR THREE HOURS!!!!
9:30 am - Breakfast skipped.  Lunch promised by 12:00.  1:00 pm at the latest.
9:45 am - Bored of parade.  Time to start planning Black Friday shopping.

11:00 am - Shopping planned.  Dying of hunger.  Going back to sleep off misery
1:30 pm - Awake.  Still no food.  Stomach in revolt.
2:30 pm - STILL NO FOOD.  This is turning into a fast
3:30 pm - Start watching football.  Or movie.  Engrossed in either.
3:55 pm - “Lunch is ready.”
4:00 pm -  Yelled at for holding up the meal.  What can I say…I’m watching TV.
6:00 pm -  Recovering from meal.  Black Friday shopping cancelled.
8:00 pm - Dessert now ready.  Looks like I just found dinner.
10:00 pm - Black Friday shopping started.  Thanksgiving over.  I’m headed to bed.
